Graduated from the Sculpture Department of Tokyo Zokei University. |

Completed the Department of Sculpture of the Graduate School of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. |
| 1986 |
One-year stay in London as a research worker of fine-art of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. |
| 1991 |
Received the new artist encouragement prize of cultural fund of Takashimaya Department store. |
| 1995 |
Received the excellent prize of 26th Teijiro Nakahara Prize. |
| 1997 |
Received the 18th Denchu Hiragushi Prize. |
| 2000 |
Became a professor of sculpture department of Tokyo Zokei University. |

Received the 33rd Teijiro Nakahara Prize. |
